SHORT QUALIFYING COURSE
In a context where IT and electronics play a key role in technological and ecological transitions, mastering version management tools such as Git and collaborative platforms (GitHub, GitLab) is becoming a strategic lever. This training course is part of an approach to supporting open and sovereign digital projects, to encourage innovation and collaboration within interdisciplinary teams.
Over the course of two days, you'll learn how to manage your local and remote repositories, collaborate effectively on complex projects, and apply practices that promote transparency in development processes. Thanks to a practical and interactive approach, you'll be able to meet the challenges of your collaborative professional projects.
Objectives :
- Manage a local Git repository independently, mastering basic and advanced operations
- Collaborate remotely on shared, versioned projects using GitHub or GitLab platform features
- Use advanced commands to resolve conflicts and optimize productivity
- Adopt best practices for managing branches, pull requests and team workflows

Pedagogical means and methods
Practical workshops and tutorials (80% of time).
Role-playing games and collaborative simulations.
Guided exercises on GitHub/GitLab.
Evaluation and results
- Learner satisfaction
- Learning assessment with feedback during the session: completion of a collaborative mini-project at the end of the course.
- Validation with a training certificate and an ESOS Open badge.
Target audience
- Junior or intermediate development teams, project managers, engineers or technicians, QA teams, other players in the technology sector
Prerequisites
Basic computer skills (file handling, terminal commands, Linux and Bash languages).
No previous experience with Git or GitHub is necessary.
